No había ido a Curauma en mucho tiempo, poco conocía sino a través de google earth en clases de Diseño Urbano cuando estudiábamos el tamaño de Valparaíso, y las anexiones urbanas a la ciudad (Como se entendían a las macromanzanas de crecimiento). Mas allá de lo obvio que puede representar esta idea, esto es, la consolidación de distintas posibilidades de habitación en la ciudad de Valparaíso; me parece más que hermosa la idea de crecimiento o loteo de lugares geográficamente apartados, aún cuando siempre queda dando vuelta el tema de la densificación de los centros urbanos, y lo que pasa en el centro Valparaíso, o la hiperdensificación del centro de Viña.
Si bien a muchos no le guste, Curauma es un refugio para quienes les gustan los loteos forestales, si bien el tema de los bosques y la forma sustentable de crecer es ahora un tema central, considero que lugares donde se forestó con Eucaliptus y Pino Insigne no representan un tema, sino cuando es bosque endémico.
Sólo queda pensar, en cuando uno se pone a hablar de sustentable o no sustentable; sino en los arboles como comunidad total o nuestro arboles chilenos los que se cuidaran; por último que hay con la necesidad de la gente de vivir en lugares especiales, y generar distintas actividades alrededor (lago, playa u otros) mientras sea, claro está público.
I haven´t go to Curauma in a while, few I actually knew, just through google earth and when we had Tutorials of Urban Design, when we used to study about the size of the city of Valparaíso and the urban annexations of the city. (How we used to understand the Macroblocks of Urban development). Obviously the representation of this idea of growing and lotting of geographically isolated places, in relationship with the urban centres density; is part of the central theme of urbanism as well, but what is happening now with the Valparaiso midtown and the hiperdensity of Viña del Mar, is just happening, without no question.
There is even a bunch of people who doesn't like Curauma, because it's a retreat for the ones who like the forest-lots; nowadays the central point of this discussion is the sustainable way of growing, I consider that places that are planted with Eucaliptus and Pinus Radiata aren't a theme itself, just when is endemic florae.
I only get to think that when we speak about sustainable or not sustainable, Are the trees a whole comunity to save or our endemic trees the ones to save? what about the people's need of living in special places and generated different activities along (beach, lagoon, mountains or river) and of course without any questioning, must be public.
